Pictures of the Trip
These are three women we saw, walking into the village to market. They each had a baby tied on their backs and were able to carry heavy loads on their heads.
After we had driven for an hour and half, we arrived at this village where a little boy brought us his sister who was only 12 hours old. Look how big her feet are. We immunized her and left some candy for the villagers.
These boys were having fun the day we visited their village. As you can see, any clothing you have given to hamper drives are reaching their destination.
The children we met did not know what cameras were. We have conditioned our children to smile as soon as they see the camera appear. In Nigeria, we had to show them how to smile. This fellow live in the first village were we saw our first Polio sufferer.
